2022 wrap up

 2022 APRIL through DECEMBER

  • The Mind Thieves -  Mind Readers #2 by Lori Brighton (4 Stars)

  • Winter (book 4 of The Lunar Chronicles ) by Marissa Meyer. (5 stars)
I loved it. Never leaving my shelf.

  • The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton (3 stars)
A new way of seeing a murder case

  • Ocean's Secret by Demelza Carlon (2 stars)

  • Atlantis Rising by T.A. Barron (3 stars)
A little of a slow read for me which is why i rated it 3 stars but i do plan on continuing the series.

  • Girls Made of Snow and Glass by  Melissa Bashardoust (3 stars)
I was gifted this book years ago when i was having step daughter issues. So i was afraid to read it and realize I'm the evil stepmother but it's a cute read and I wish i did read it when i got it. More likely not staying on my shelf.

  • Long Live the Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw (4 stars)
The beginning was hard for me to get through because of her insecurities. Sally felt brave and strong in the film and since this is taken after that took place I expected her to be more like the middle towards the end of the book. Other than that I liked the story.

  • Swimmer by Avily Jerome (3 stars)
    Intriguing. I'm Hooked.

  • Cinderella is Dead by Kalynn Bayron (3 stars)
Like the characters. Female empowerment and strength. Very quick read and kept my interest. Three stars because I liked it but not enough to keep in my library.

  • A Mouse Called Mika by Matt Haig and Illustrated by Chris Mould (3 stars)
From the World of A Boy Called Christmas. I read this book with my nephew Stephen. We both enjoyed the story. It lacked a little compared to the other books in the world but cute for a Christmas read.

  • Meropolis by Sol Stanley (1 star)
A children's chapter book. Part of a series I won't continue. Read book up to Chapter 8 but did not enjoy enough to continue.

Picture Books

  • Where Do Mermaids Go on Vacation? by Kim Ann (2 stars)
    Nice Illustrations
